THE GOVERNOR’S NOTES

 

Hello Brothers & Sisters,

Hope everyone is doing well. As you all know, we had our first Bar B Que Cook Off the last week end in February and The 2295 Cookers took 3 out of 4 First places. I want to thank everyone who helped with this and participated in the Cook Off. It was a great time. Lynda Bolden did a great job at getting this together. We want to thank all of the Judges for their time and a special thank you to Rodney Hammond, Regional Manager, for coming to be a Judge for this event.

As you all know it is time for the Nominating Committee to get names for the upcoming year for Officers, If anyone wants to be on the Board, you need to see Jim Anderson or Howard ‘Nip’ Johnson to put in an application for what office. We have had a great year and I want to thank everyone for their help and

support. this year. A special thanks to John White, Administrator, for his help and I thank the Board of Officers for their help this year and to the Members I really do appreciate your support.

Brothers & Sisters,

I hope everyone is doing well. We have a lot of functions planned for the next couple of months and we

can always use the help. If you would like to participate, please contact any of the

Officers and we will assist you. Our Lodge is keeping our head above water and we can always use new

ideas. If you have any ideas, contact one of the officers and it will definitely be taken into consideration.

As I have said before, this is Your Lodge, it will be what you make of it. I would like to thank all the

members for your outstanding work in Community Service. Your work in this field is second to none.

In closing I would like to personally thank all my Brothers and Sisters for the great volunteer work you

do for our Beloved Fraternity.
