FROM THE GOVERNOR

Brothers and Sisters,

Thank you for all you do for our lodge.

Your attendance at the dinners and functions has helped our lodge survive during these tough summer

months while our northern members are away. I hope we continue to provide you with the activities and fellowship to keep you active in your membership.

Mike Turner informs me that we have some new entertainment coming this month and we hope to see you there. We have a spaghetti dinner 2nd and 4th Wednesday nights. The dart machine will be operational again the first week in July. Shuffle board is back on Monday nights. And we continue to have Euchre on

Thursdays. So as you can see there is plenty to do at your Moose Lodge. So come on in and have a good time.

We have fixed the front door so please remember to bring your key card. Also remember to bring your membership cards in with you and be ready to show them in the social quarters. Be proud to show your card and remember the bartenders are only doing their job to help keep our private and tax free status a benefit to all members.

We will be starting work on the screen room out front in July and will continue the project until it is completed.

This is a requirement from the health department in order for us to continue cooking Friday night dinners on

the grill. Your patience, understanding and continued support of this project is greatly appreciated.

Again, Thank You for all that you do. If you have a member that has a desire to volunteer for anything, please

get in contact with one of your board of officers or come to the Joint and General meetings on the 1st and 3rd

Wednesday nights at 7pm. Being active in your lodge will enlighten your heart and rekindle the flame for why

we are all Moose members...Having fun while performing a service to others... Mooseheart and Moosehaven.

Thank you,

Dan Pratt, Governor

     From the desk of Administrator:

Lodge Brothers and Sisters,

I wish to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has been coming out to support our Lodge functions.
Without all of you, it is a hard chore for us to keep our Lodge on the positive side. But, as someone has said, if we
set out to eat an elephant, it would be very difficult for one person to eat a whole elephant by themselves. But, if
we all would help on this, it would be a lot easier to accomplish. Not that I am asking anyone to eat an elephant,
but I sure need your help, to keep our Lodge operating in the black.
Our Board of Officers, both the women and the men, have been working hard together to make our Lodge a
fun and friendly place to come. If you have not been out for a while, you have sure missed a good time and some
very good meals. We have had some fantastic functions and I have been very proud to have been a part of such a
Lodge and I also am glad to be a part of the South Lakeland Moose family.
We are in need of a lot of help to keep our Lodge the friendliest Lodge in Lakeland. Do you have an idea
that would give us an opportunity to gather together as a family and have a good time? Please feel free to let one
of the Officers know and we will be glad to look at it and put it into motion.
We would like to thank Tom Riley for his donation to us of a water heater. He came to our aide when were
in great need.
I am going to take this time to thank Fred Ruggeri for his presentation on Flag Day. All of us present that
day were so touched by his recognition of our Troops and honoring our Flag.
I hope everyone that reads this message will come out and support the ones that are working so hard to
make your Lodge a fun place to come. My door as the Administrator is open to everyone. Please come by and say
hello, give me your support and let me know that I am your Brother in the Moose. Thank all of you for your support
in all things.
The Board of Officers and Members congratulate Brian and Peggy Everlith on their marriage. Best wishes
to them.
Fraternally yours,
Bill Blankenship
