Community Service has been an ever-growing portion of the overall Moose fraternal program ever since its inception under the name “Civic Affairs” by then-Director General Malcolm Giles in the late 1940s. The kaleidoscope of all that is Moose Community Service was organized into a “Five-Point Program” in the early 1990s, then expanded in mid-decade to the “Six-Point Program”.

Moose Starz

 

Our LOOM and WOTM held a fund-raiser for the American Cancer Society.

We had a steak dinner and then had a show called Moose Starz.

Tommy Moose 

Our lodge and WOTM sponsored an Amatur back yard cook off and raffled a B B Q Grill

with the money we raised we purchased 18 dozen Tommy Moose and donated them to the Polk County Fire Department.

At Christmas our Lodge adopted families and provided Christmas dinner and presents for the children.

This Christmas our WOTM and LOOM went Christmas caroling in a Senior Moblie Home Park.

Some of the Seniors we met when we delivered goody bags through VISTE.
